Product attributes can be used in variety of ways, here are a few examples: clothing – additional size and color selection, adding additional accessories to the product, custom configurations of any kind. We also offer you the option to use predefined attributes, when you add similar type of products.
Create main attribute: For sample we will create attributes appropriate for the sale of T-shirts.
In this example we will use two attributes. The first one will be used to select the size and the second to select the color of the t-shirt. Кeep in mind that attributes can be as much as you want.
Let’s start by clicking on the “Add New Attribute” button and new menu will appear below.
Title: enter the full name of the attribute.
Required Attribute: buyer will be required to select the attribute.
Hide Attribute Price: you can hide the extra attributes price. The price will not be displayed, but it exists and will be included in the final calculation.
In the example the “Required Attribute” option is selected.

Add stocks to the product sub attribute: This option allows you to add amounts to your sub properties. The option will not appear immediately, you have to firstly set your attributes and update your page in order for the setting to appear.
If you want to add amounts click on the “stocks” button and new window will appear.
Select in which stock room you want to add your amount and enter the quantity.
Product Variations
Variations are new products which are related to the main product and they are generated based on a single or on a combination of attributes.
Attributes are most commonly used for selection of specific properties of the main product.
Variations can be created for single attribute or for combination of attributes,
by doing that, your customers will be able to select attributes from the front end, which will forward them to a specific variable product.
Variable products have a separate media gallery, and all of the futures of the main product except the product description which is inherited from the main product.
Let’s look at the form that creates all possible variations of the test product and add them as well.
Title: Enter the title of the product variation.
SKU: Stock keeping unit or product number.
Price: The price of the product variation.
Below the price are displayed the product attributes, from which all variations are created. In this case, the attributes from which we will create product variations are T-shirt Color and T-shirt Size.
To create a variation, we must first fill out the form as follows. SKU and Price are not required field.
First variation will call T-shirt Black M because we chose the black color and size “M”.
For the second T-shirt Black L because we chose the black color and size “L”.
After we enter the last size “XL” for black color, you have to switch to the next color and continue in the same way.
T-shirt Black M
T-shirt Black L
T-shirt Black XL
T-shirt White M
T-shirt White L
T-shirt White XL
And so on …
Once all of the variations are saved, we should have a total of twelve new products. All new product variations have to be published in case you want them to work. I will also add an image to each variation.
